Common questions
- Do I need an account?
- No. There are no accounts anywhere in MindBenchmark — not on the website, not in the iPhone app. All 20 tests are free and require no sign-up.
- How do I stop sharing my scores?
- In the iPhone app, sharing is off until you turn it on — you can switch it back off any time in Settings → Sharing, and reset your anonymous ID from the same screen. On the web, use the control on our privacy page. See what the app sends for the full list.
- My score looks wrong.
- Tell us which test, what you scored, and what you expected. Timing is measured from the moment the stimulus is drawn, so display refresh rate and input device both matter — a phone touchscreen is typically slower than a mouse on the same test.
- Can you delete my data?
- Email us from the address you want us to act on and describe your request. Submitted scores are anonymous and carry no name or email, so include your device’s anonymous ID (iPhone app: Settings → Sharing) if you want specific rows removed.
- Is this a medical or diagnostic tool?
- No. MindBenchmark is for measurement and entertainment only. It does not diagnose, treat, or screen for any condition — see our disclaimer.
Reporting a bug
Include your device and OS version, the test involved, and what you expected to happen. Screenshots help. If the app closed unexpectedly, say roughly when — crash diagnostics are collected by Apple’s MetricKit and stay on your device unless you choose to share them.
